The History of "PHYSIOLOGIKI"

"PHYSIOLOGIKI" was founded in 1994 as a Limited Liability Cooperative (LLC) and received an operating license for the control and certification of organic products with decision no. 374156/18.05.1994. In 1997, it evolved into a Limited Liability Company (LLC), while since 2014 it has been operating as a Private Capital Company (PFC), with the official approval of the Ministry of Agriculture (decision no. 240902/07-03-02) as an Organization for the Control and Certification of Organic Products.

The headquarters of "PHYSIOLOGIKI" is located in Alexandria Imathia, in the center of the fertile plain of Central Macedonia. Since its establishment until today, with founder and president Mr. Konstantinos Ignatiadis and a team of experienced collaborators, "PHYSIOLOGIKI" (GR-BIO-02) remains dedicated to supporting and promoting Greek Organic Agriculture. Its goal is not simply to develop numerical statistics, but to substantially shape a sustainable and dynamic agricultural model.

The company is subject to annual audit by ELGO Dimitra and is accredited according to the EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard by E.S.Y.D. (National Accreditation System S.A.), with Accreditation Certificate number 308-7.

 
 
 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
     
     
     
 

The Identity of “PHYSIOLOGIKI”

"PHYSIOLOGIKI" is not just a certification body. It is a pillar of support for Greek Organic Agriculture, proposing a holistic approach for the reconstruction of agricultural production in the country. Based on the Regulations 848/2018 E.U. of the European Union, it promotes a development strategy based on:

  • Continuous training of organic producers by specialized and evaluated consultants.
  • Financial support linked to the sustainability and circular economy of agricultural activities.

It supports production models that include:

  • Combination of plant and animal production.
  • Diversity of cultivated species and strengthening of legumes.
